Learn How to Scuba Dive

The PADI Open Water Course consists of three main phases:

  • Phase 1. Knowledge Development (e-Learning codes can be purchased at D2) to understand basic principles of scuba diving.

  • Phase 2. Confined Water Dives to learn basic skills.

  • Phase 3. Open Water Dives to review your skills and explore.

PADI Course Prerequisites

To enroll in the PADI Open Water Diver course or Junior Open Water Diver course, you must be 10 years or older.

The Fun Part

The fun part about this course just about all of it because learning to SCUBA is incredible. You breathe underwater for the first time (something you will never forget) and learn what you need to know to become a certified diver. During the PADI Open Water Diver course, you'll learn what you need to know to explore the underwater world using SCUBA. Most people find it a rewarding challenge. You will complete at least three pool dives and four dives at a local dive site under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. Call for more details!

Certification Break-Down

The PADI Open Water SCUBA Course is comprised of three phases. Phase one is the academic portion which can be completed online. Phase two is the confined water (pool training). The last phase is to complete four Open Water dives with an instructor. After your last pool session, you will have a year to complete these dives.

Each student is required to own their own Mask, Snorkel, Fins and Boots. This equipment is very important to the learning experience and has to be of SCUBA quality. We extend a special discount price to all of our students for this or any other gear purchase.


Semi Private course and Private course options allow for an on demand flexible schedule that works for you and your instructor, allowing us to help you reach your goal.


Once a student has completed his or her class and pool training, they have up to one year to complete their Open Water dive requirement.
The Open Water dives (4) can be done on vacation anywhere in the world through the PADI referral program; or these dives can be completed locally with Divers Two. The cost for the four dives done locally is $350, but this is subject to the discretion of the referred dive center.


We are following the guidelines set forth by DAN (Diver Alert Network) to provide sterile and safe environments for our divers. We will also teach and practice proper sanitation methods throughout the program.

Pool Tune-Ups & Reactivate Courses

Tune-ups, refreshers, and guided open water dives are available on-demand twelve months out of the year! These may include e-learning theory, e-learning theory and pool, and open water dives. Various levels can sign up which is a great opportunity to refine skills, refresh, try out gear, and explore sites with a certified instructor as your guide! $189.00 per person, not including boat fees or rentals. Second person $89.00.

REACTIVATE Course $289.00 per person, not including boat fees or rentals.
